National/Regional Winners
National Winners
CFA created the title National Winner (NW) in 1971. It is the highest achievement a cat can earn in the show ring. Every year CFA rewards it's top 25 cats in Championship, Kittens and Premiership classes with the NW title. Those cats must be the top 25 of all breeds being shown that year.
The very first year CFA began National Awards, a Manx female named GC, NW Glendower's Adrienne was Best Kitten. The same year, another Manx female, GP, NW Kittrik's Bon-Angel of Wila-Blite, was Best cat in Premiership. Bon - Angel repeated earning the same title the following year. Four Manx females have earned the title of Best in Premiership to date. There have been no other Best Kitten Winners, and no Manx has ever earned Best cat in Championship.

Regional Winners
Regional points are accumulated during a single show season (from the first weekend in May to last weekend in April), and do not carry over into the next season. At the completion of the show season, each cat or kitten is given credit with points for only its highest 100 individual rings (40 for kittens). To be eligible for a regional award, a each cat or kitten must be shown at least once in the region the win was earned in.
At the end of each show season, each CFA region holds a Regional Awards Banquet. Awards are presented for Best-25th Cat, Best-25th Kitten, Best-25th Cat in Premiership, Best, second and third best of breed/division and best and second best of color wins. Point requirement to receive a breed/division and/or color award differs from region to region. The title of "Regional Winner (RW)" goes to only those cats receiving top 25 cat/kitten/cat in premiership awards.
